About this Conference:

This is our Annual Conference for Ohio County Engineers and their high-level staff. The purpose of this conference is to provide an orientation-style meeting for our newly elected and current Ohio county engineers. 
This year, we are adding a special evening reception to honor our Supporting Members. More information can be found in the Supporting Member section below. 


Attendee Information:

Ohio County Engineers and newly elected county engineers should register as attendees for this conference. County Engineers may also register their high-level staff (ex., Chief Deputies, Department Heads, Managers, etc.).  Please note our new 3-day format.

Cost: $299 per person
Register Online by January 20, 2025.
Professional Development Credits will be offered.

Overview of the Conference Schedule (Tentative):

Day 1 - Wednesday, February 5, 2025

10:30am-11:30am: Registration
11:30am-11:45am: Welcome County Engineers & Newly Elected Engineers
11:45am-1:45pm: Lunch, CEAO Orientation and Sessions (CPDs will be offered)
2:00pm-5:00pm: Tunnel Tour with City of Columbus (Tentative)
6:00pm-11:00pm: Engineers Dinner & Town Hall meeting

Day 2 - Thursday February 6, 2025

8:30am-11:30am: Breakfast & Morning Sessions (CPDs will be offered)
11:45-1:00pm: Past President/Past Treasurer Luncheon
1:30pm-4:30pm: Afternoon Sessions (CPDs will be offered)
6:00pm-11:00pm: Supporting Members Mix & Mingle dinner reception

Day 3 - Friday February 7, 2025

8:30am-9:30am: Breakfast & Morning Sessions (CPDs will be offered)
10:00am-Noon: CEAO February Board Meeting

One of CEAO’s top priorities is fostering communication between County Engineers and related partner industries. We believe these relationships stimulate positive dialogue and are of mutual benefit to all involved. This Mix & Mingle event is dedicated to you, our valued Supporting Members. It's a special occasion to express our gratitude for your partnership with CEAO and your ongoing support of Ohio’s County Engineers.

You must RSVP/Register for the Mix & Mingle before Monday, January 20, 2025. Select Supporting Member when registering. 

Mix & Mingle Registration

Costs: As a supporting member, this is a free event for two (2) representatives from your company. Any additional staff members can be added for $50 per person.

Add on Display Table option: If you are interested in purchasing a marketing display table to have at the Mix & Mingle, you can add that option during online registration. There is a charge of $200 per display table. This event is not meant to be a trade show, it’s a special event to recognize our Supporting Members (but we know some of you will ask so we are providing this as an add-on option).

Important Information: The Mix & Mingle event takes place on Thursday evening only which is the second night of our CEAO County Engineers Conference. Supporting Members are invited to attend the Mix & Mingle event only and are NOT eligible to attend the conference.

Cancellation policy:  Any changes to your reservation must be made in writing via email to karig@ceao.org. If you have paid by credit card, a $50 credit card refund/processing fee will be charged for all cancellations. No refunds after January 20, 2025. No-shows will be billed.
