Roundabout construction closing part of Millikin Road in Liberty Township

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Construction of a Liberty Twp. roundabout on Millikin Road will close its intersection with the north leg of Lesourdsville-West Chester Road beginning Tuesday. “We had this roundabout in mind when we started down the road with the other roundabout (Millikin Road, Lesourdsville-Wester Road and Pinckney Trail),” said Greg Wilkens, Butler County engineer.

$40 Million Price Tag for New County Highway Garage Too Steep for County Engineer

When Wood County Engineer John Musteric was asked for his opinion on the $40 million estimate for a new highway garage facility, he didn’t mince words.

“I think that’s a waste of money,” Musteric said to the Wood County Commissioners on Thursday. “We do not need to go with a Taj Mahal.”

Only Issue on May Ballot Would Boost Infrastructure Spending

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — This May, there is one statewide issue on the ballot, asking voters to approve a multi-billion-dollar infrastructure bond program.  

Issue 2 asks Ohioans to approve $2.5 billion in bonds to fund local infrastructure projects.    

“That could be roads, bridges, water, sewer, stormwater improvements,” President of the County Engineers Association of Ohio Scott Coleman said.
